Private beta policy
Privacy Policy
Catalog Sentinel is designed so product feed contents are parsed and checked in your browser. This policy separates that local processing from the basic data a hosted website may still receive.
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Product feed contents
Feed files are read into your current browser session for parsing and validation. Catalog Sentinel does not send file contents to its application server, save them in a database, or retain a copy after you close or refresh the page.
Reports are generated in memory. If you download a CSV report, your browser saves it to the location you choose on your device.
Website access data
The hosting provider may process standard request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser user agent, requested path, timestamp, and security diagnostics. This data is separate from the contents of a product feed.
The private beta does not use advertising trackers or a product analytics service. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before public launch. Feed filenames, product titles, SKUs, URLs, row contents, and report findings will not be sent as analytics event properties.
Accounts, payments, and browser storage
The current beta has no user accounts and no payment flow. Catalog Sentinel does not use local storage to preserve feed data or reports between visits.
External links
Issue reports and guides may link to Google help pages or other external resources. Those sites process data under their own privacy policies, which Catalog Sentinel does not control.
Changes and contact
This policy may change as the beta adds features or service providers. The date above will be updated when material changes are published.
A support contact and legal entity notice must be selected by the site owner before public access is enabled. Until then, this policy applies only to the owner-only private beta.
