Before you check a feed.

Is Catalog Sentinel free?

Yes. Catalog Sentinel is free during the current beta. There is no checkout or credit card requirement.

Is my product feed uploaded?

No. The feed contents are parsed and checked in your browser and are not sent to Catalog Sentinel servers.

Which file formats are supported?

The beta reads TSV, TXT, common Google Shopping XML, and CSV as a convenient import format. Google recommends tab-delimited or XML files for upload, so CSV should not be treated as a Google-ready export.

Will a clean report guarantee Google Merchant approval?

No. Catalog Sentinel checks a limited set of common feed-data issues. Google may also evaluate your website, account settings, policies, shipping, tax information, and other factors.

Does Catalog Sentinel change or save my original file?

No. The beta creates a report in the current browser session. It does not change, upload, or save your original feed.
